In early 2015, we have started experimenting at Greenhouse Group Labs with blockchain technology by making a first attempt in developing a decentralized application focused on the recruitment process. Fast forward three and a half years, blockchain technology has matured and has become the word on the street. But beyond all the buzz and excitement, widespread adoption is still going slow.
However, the last couple of years have seen various developments that could open the doors for blockchain integration in the marketing industry. Events like the Cambridge Analytica scandal, rise concerns on the importance of our data. Meanwhile, the dominance of those big tech companies - like Facebook and Google - is still increasing.

That’s why we started with another Blockchain-project in Labs last August, where we are currently exploring use cases of blockchain technology for the Greenhouse Group. A team of interns is working on building a prototype, aimed at increasing the data transparency for the consumer. Simultaneously, on an international level, one of our partner companies (Mindshare) is teaming up with a group of blockchain engineers to run a test pilot including the whole marketing chain (i.e. advertiser, agency, publisher, user).
In this internship, your responsibility – as a team – is to further develop the blockchain prototype that is currently being build within the Greenhouse Group. Moreover, chances are that it will include to build a blockchain partnership with our international partners. We are looking for entrepreneurial, technical, and marketing students who are up for a challenge. You will be coached by professionals from within the organization.
