As a Manager Software Development you have a leadership role within our _TECH department (80+ employees). Together with your team, you are responsible for coaching, hiring, supervising on the growth of teams and employees. This while you take care of the ambitions and future of Greenhouse as a whole. As a true people manager you support and facilitate the work of multidisciplinary development teams. You are pragmatic, technically skilled and you understand that every technical decision must meet a business need.
Minimum of 2 years track record of leading development teams
Minimum of 2 years coaching people
Minimum of one year in a leadership role
Minimum of 2 years software development experience
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English

As a member of the Executive Action Team (part of the Scrum @ Scale framework) you lead organizational changes. Your focus is on supporting business priorities. In this context you facilitate our Agile development team(s) on a tactical and strategic level and aid your individual employees in their personal development. We value the identification of their talents, support of their growth, and provide open and honest feedback. This combination of coaching, mentoring and sharing of best practices ensures you ensure that they grow optimally in their career development. You ultimately assess performance on an individual and team level, recognizing and promoting outstanding performance, and discussing bottlenecks and contributing to the growth of Greenhouse _TECH through interviews, onboarding or other recruitment related duties.
