At the heart of Open DC is a platform that enables brands to build complex messaging and targeting strategies from an initial creative concept, to a fully-fledged campaign with thousands of variants, delivering valuable performance improvements across display, video, social and other channels.
About the role
The product manager is responsible for defining and owning the dynamic video and social capabilities of the Open DC platform, ensuring that any updates to the platform are valuable, useable, and feasible. It is the intersection between product development and commercial – assisting the commercial team with requirement gathering and translating these to development priorities. Stakeholder management will be key to this role, interpreting requirements from across the WPP landscape to build a product that enables revenue growth through new channels. The product manager will also champion their product, presenting the platform alongside the commercial team as the subject matter expert.
Strategic Planning – responsible for release planning and prioritising roadmap items. Think strategically to understand, interpret and priorities features based on company strategy and revenue opportunity.
Stakeholder management – understand requirements from across WPP to define usable and revenue-driving features.
Product Management – experience delivering digital products, familiar with an agile and scrum focussed approach. Also having experience using productivity tools to define, plan and track requirements and user stories.
Product Leadership – the recognised owner of their product – able to assist the commercial team as the subject matter expert.
