We enable brands to build complex messaging and targeting strategies, using dynamic creative templates and valuable data signals, across display and video advertising channels. We create efficiencies and improve performance for brands in multiple markets.
About the role
The product manager is responsible for defining and owning key future capabilities of the Open DC platform across one or more key channels, including social media and e-commerce. They are the intersection between product development and commercial – able to gather requirements from customers and translate these to development priorities. Stakeholder management will be key to this role, interpreting requirements from across WPP to build a product that enables revenue growth through new channels and capabilities. The product manager will champion their product area, attending presentations and pitches alongside the commercial team as the subject matter expert.
Strategic Planning – responsible for release planning and prioritising roadmap items. Think strategically to understand, interpret and priorities features based on company strategy and revenue opportunity.
Stakeholder management – understand requirements from across WPP to define usable and revenue-driving features.
Product Management – Experience delivering digital products and a familiarity with agile and scrum will help the product manager to integrate with the product and engineering team.
Product Leadership – the product manager will be the recognized expert in their product area, able to assist the commercial team as the subject matter expert with presentations and demonstrations.
Advertising Industry Experience – the product manager has worked in advertising previously, building an expert knowledge of both customer needs and how these can be solved with technology. Previous ad-tech experience is necessary for this role - with e-commerce or social media experience highly desired.
